I’m Brittany. It’s nice to see you! I am a homeopath in beautiful Elora, Ontario. I love diving into difficult subjects in homeopathy and medicine, and breaking them down so they are easily understandable. If you are interested in being a patient, hit the “book an appointment” button above. You can book a free info session, or an initial appointment.
Poke around and see what appeals to you.
Wishing you well,

Hi there!
Homeopathy
-
Effective
Studies have found homeopathy effective for diverse conditions such as depression, ear infections, colds, vertigo, diarrhea, and allergies. But homeopathy is helpful for a lot more than just these conditions. One study found that people who used homeopathy, regardless of their complaint, had better health outcomes than people who only chose conventional treatment.
In 2017, the Swiss government decided to cover homeopathy in their public health plan because they found it to be consistently effective, safe and cost effective for the public.
-
Safe
Remedies are incredibly gentle and have few to no side effects. This is due to the fact that the remedies are highly diluted (more information can be found on the about remedies page).
Remedies have safely been used in infants, pregnant and nursing women and seniors for centuries with an impeccable safety record.
-
In Demand
Homeopathy is used by over 200 million people worldwide.
It's part of the national health program in Brazil, Chile, India, Mexico, Pakistan, Switzerland. In India, 100 million people use only homeopathy for their healthcare.
Homeopathy has been used by Mother Teresa, Gandhi, Charles Darwin, Mark Twain, Queen Elizabeth II and more.

Appointment FAQs
Where are appointments?
In person and virtual appointments are available Monday through Wednesday. In person appointments are done at the Old Quarry Commons Building (294 East Mill St, Elora, Ontario, N0B 1S0). My office is Unit 110B.
What to expect at an appointment:
At the first appointment, I will ask about the current and past symptoms of any conditions or discomforts you have. Sometimes it is also helpful to get an idea of how you react to stressors, weather changes, food, environments, etc to put your symptoms into context. At the end of the appointment, a remedy will be given to help with all or most of the discomforts discussed during the appointment. As with any good science, only one variable is changed at any one time, so we only prescribe one remedy at a time. Follow ups for homeopathy are generally 2-4 weeks apart at the beginning (usually for only 2-3 months) until we find a good remedy and dose for you. Then follow ups are as-needed, or every 3-6 months.
How long are appointments?
The first appointment is 1-1.5 hours long. Follow up appointments and acutes (cold, flus, UTIs, etc) are one hour.
Appointment Fees:
The prescribed remedy is included in the appointment cost:
Initial Appointments: $140 +tax*
Follow up Appointments: $70 +tax*
Acute: $70 +tax*
However I work hard to preserve access to affordable healthcare. Therefore, if at anytime you find the fees to be difficult, just let me know what rate you are comfortable with and that's the rate you'll pay.
Some private insurance plans do cover homeopathic treatment, but I do not offer direct billing.
If you miss a scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for the 50% of the visit. If you cancel an appointment less than 24hrs prior, then 25% of the visit cost will be charged to your account.
What’s a Homeopath?
A homeopath finds a homeopathic remedy that has been shown to help people like you with discomforts like yours. It’s a highly individualized process. Homeopaths in Ontario must register with the College of Homeopaths of Ontario (if someone calls themselves a homeopathic practitioner, they haven’t registered). You can only register after passing an exam, graduating from an accredited program, and spending at least two years working as a practitioner at a student clinic.
Hm, I still have questions
If you are unsure about homeopathy or whether it would benefit your particular discomforts/conditions, then we can chat about your concerns on the phone. If you follow the online booking tab or click here, then you will have the option to choose a free 15 minute phone call. Let me know what your questions or concerns are and we can discuss them.
